What We Believe

  • We believe the sixty-six books in the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God: infinite, eternal, and existent in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and His substitutionary and atoning death on our behalf through His shed blood. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

Members of GracePoint Fellowship are in agreement that these belief statements constitute the basic tenets of our biblical faith. Our complete doctrinal statement describes the doctrines upon which these belief statements are based, to which our leadership adheres, and which form the basis for our teaching.

In order to work harmoniously together toward ministry goals, we ascribe to the assurance of the believer's salvation and the imminent return of Christ, and are open but cautious to expression of sign gifts. In the development of our global vision, we hold to the autonomy of the local church and to the ordinances of believer's baptism and the Lord's Table.
